Are you hungry to rediscover the child-like wonder of this holy season, to prepare for the incarnation, the coming of “God with us” in Jesus in simpler ways? Do you long for genuine peace and calm in your Christmas?
Travel with other seekers of joy & truth, revisiting passages from C.S. Lewis’ beloved classic The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. An Advent small group will explore the powerful themes of light & darkness, temptation & sin, forgiveness & hope, through the lens of Lewis’ rich tale, coupled with familiar & not so familiar scripture passages.
Author of ADVENT IN NARNIA, Heidi Haverkamp, provides daily meditations for participants. Kathleen Lalor will offer 4 weekly, Sunday morning sessions of guided conversations and prayerful reflection. Fittingly, we will gather in the 1st floor library opposite the chapel on Sundays December 2, 9,16, and 23 at 9:25a.m. Please let Kathleen know if you will plan to be a part of all or some of the sessions. Participants ideally would begin the first week’s readings prior to the first session. Contact Kathleen at kblalor@gmail.com to register & receive your copy of ADVENT IN NARNIA ($10). All are welcome!
