Lectionary Reflections

In this class, we will reflect on the weekly lectionary readings with our supply pastors and other church leaders. This is an opportunity to gain deeper insights into Scripture and its application in our lives.
Nature and Spirituality

Dive into Robin Wall Kimmerer’s thought-provoking book, The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World. Explore the connections between nature and spirituality, and how we can appreciate and respect the gifts of the earth.
Literary Reflections

Mindfulness
Led by Wilson Nash and George Gaskin
Meets Sundays at 9:30 in the Chapel
All are invited to practice and explore mindfulness meditation together. These gatherings offer a peaceful space to pause, reflect on your week, and engage in a brief guided meditation with friends. The class is informal and group-led. What you can always count on is a welcoming space, a moment of calm, and a shared sense of connection as we navigate our mindfulness journeys together.
How We Learn to Be Brave
Sunday Afternoons at 4:00 p.m.
Meets in the Chapel
Delve into Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde's inspiring book, How We Learn to Be Brave. This exciting new group is open to everyone as we explore themes of courage, faith, and community and learn together from Bishop Budde's insights. Come ready to share your thoughts, engage in meaningful conversations, and connect with fellow members of our church community.
Youth:
All youth (6th-12th graders) are invited to Sunday School each week for a group discussion lesson with guest teachers. Youth Sunday School meets in Room 206
Children:
Children age 3 and older are invited to the Atrium to experience the love and teachings of The Good Shepherd. Parents may drop off any time after 9:30 a.m. and may pick up after worship. A nursery for children age 3 and younger is available.

Heart and Hand Sundays
One Sunday each month, our children, youth and adults will gather together during Sunday School for Heart and Hand Sundays, where we will work together on service projects for our church and community. This inter-generational time of service will start with refreshments and a short devotional suitable for all ages. Join us at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
