Stewardship for Ministries in 2025: Renewing Our Connection

Renewal is not just about recharging our spiritual batteries. It is about shedding old mindsets and practices that are not producing fruit. It is a process of pruning away to let new growth occur.  We submit that such a subject is precisely the task before us. In rough numbers, it takes $1.2 million to run the church each year. That is a large amount to shoulder with a congregation of our current size, which is smaller than it was fifteen years ago. To make our 2025 budget easier to balance, we are aiming to raise the number of pledging units and average pledge amounts by 10%. There are abundant reasons for optimism when we consider the life of the church - a thriving Child Development Center, meaningful service to our neighborhood in Community Ministries, and unique traditional worship, among others.
