Using Mark Batterson’s book, In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day, Scott Williams will help us explore risks not taken, opportunities not seized, and dreams not pursued. This class will challenge participants to stop running away from that which scares them and live into God-ordained opportunities that cross our paths. This class will offer the opportunity to reimagine the seemingly messy pieces of life and consider if they could by strategically placed on our path by God. We will attempt to make sense of the past and connect the dots to see where God prepares us for future opportunity. Participants are invited to read a portion of the book and join others in discussion.
