Seniors in Motion (SIM) is a dance program designed to address some of the major health concerns among the elderly.  These globally identified health issues include fall prevention, depression, isolation, anxiety, and decrease in activities of daily living.  A major concern is the lack of access for this population to programs that would address these health concerns.  Over the past several years there have been several international studies on the positive effects of dance as prevention for some of these health issues.
The goal of the SIM program is to improve, through the offering of dance classes, the quality of life for this population.
Please join us for a free fun presentation in the fellowship hall Tuesday November 14th at 2 pm. We will dance as well as watch a performance by our dancers from Episcopal Place. All are welcome!
