Anam Cara Study - Sundays at 4:00 pm Beginning September 12
This Sunday, members of the Anam Cara study are invited to the home of Jon and Jettye Davis to walk their Ginko Labyrinth.
Anam Cara - A Book of Celtic Wisdom by John O’Donohue is a soul-stretching read, exploring such immutable human concerns as love, friendship, solitude, work, aging, and death through the timeless lens of ancient Celtic wisdom. Irish poet, philosopher, and scholar John O’Donohue guides us through the spiritual landscape and imagination using soulful Celtic teachings, stories, and blessings that span generations both ancient and contemporary. During this time of pandemic, social distancing, and mask protocols that are so rapidly changing people’s lives, many of us are longing for true connection. Reading Anam Cara and discussing it in a small group setting is a great way to go deeper in our spiritual journey and nurture community during these hard times. Join Reggie Holder Sunday afternoons at 4 pm, beginning September 12 in the Highlands Prayer Garden or Sanctuary as weather permits to read and reflect on short passages of Anam Cara.
